Distribution Agreement

What we do for your music, what you keep, how royalties work, and how releases come down.

The short version

You keep 100% ownership of your music and artwork. You grant us the right to distribute and monetise it while your plan is active. You earn up to 95% of royalties, paid out after a ₹1,000 (₹) / $50 (intl) minimum, and you can take your catalogue down — free once your term completes, or for a small per-song fee if you leave early.

This Distribution Agreement (the "Agreement") is between you ("Artist", "you") and Tunetradr Records Private Limited ("Tunetradr", "we", "us"), and applies when you submit music for distribution through our Services. It works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Scope Of Services

Tunetradr provides digital distribution of your music to streaming platforms and stores, royalty collection and reporting, YouTube Content ID monetisation, artist-profile verification support, and metadata management. We act solely as your distributor.

2. Ownership Of Your Content

You retain 100% ownership of your sound recordings, musical compositions and artwork. Tunetradr never claims ownership of your copyright — we only distribute on your behalf.

3. Grant Of Rights

For as long as this Agreement is active, you grant Tunetradr the right to deliver and distribute your Content to stores and DSPs, to monetise it (including via Content ID), to collect royalties on your behalf, and to provide reporting and analytics. This right ends when your Content is removed in line with this Agreement.

4. Term & Exclusivity

Your distribution term matches the plan you choose — a yearly subscription, or the 5-year term of the Custom Label (Distributor) plan. During your active term, Tunetradr is your exclusive distributor for the Content delivered through us. Your term renews with your plan; you may choose not to renew, after which removal options apply (see section 10).

5. Plans & Pricing

  • Standard — ₹3,080/year (about ₹340/month). 90% lifetime royalties.
  • Premium — ₹5,899/year (about ₹750/month). 95% lifetime royalties.
  • Custom Label (Distributor) — ₹25,000 for 5 years. 95% royalties, plus full label tools.

6. Royalties & Revenue Share

You earn 90% (Standard) or 95% (Premium and Custom Label) of the net revenue Tunetradr receives from the platforms for your Content. Royalties are calculated on the net amount actually received from each platform. Tunetradr does not guarantee any level of streams, revenue or earnings.

7. Payments & Payouts

You can request a payout once your balance reaches the minimum threshold of ₹1,000 (India) or $50 (international). Valid withdrawal requests are processed within 7 working days. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any applicable taxes.

8. Your Responsibilities

  • You own or are fully licensed for all Content you submit, and it does not infringe anyone's rights.
  • Your metadata, credits and artwork are accurate and meet our content guidelines.
  • You are responsible for resolving any disputes over your Content and for the accuracy of your account information.

9. Content Review & Rejection

We may reject or remove Content that infringes copyright, breaches platform rules, contains false or misleading metadata, or is involved in a legal dispute — see our User Guidelines and Anti-Fraud Policy.

10. Takedowns & Early Termination

  • After your term completes — you can request removal at no cost; takedowns typically process within 72 hours, subject to each platform's timelines.
  • Before your term completes — early removal is not available by default. Where we approve it, a fee of ₹1,000 per song applies, payable upfront.

11. Limitation Of Liability

Tunetradr does not guarantee playlisting, streams or earnings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under this Agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Tunetradr harmless from claims arising out of your Content, including copyright issues, false claims of ownership, or any breach of this Agreement.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the Indian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
